2024년 수능 고난도 문제 33번

2023년 11월 16일에 대학수학능력평가시험이 실시되었습니다.

영어를 가르치면서 영어단어도 잘 알고, 해석도  잘 하고, 그래서 훌룽하다고 생각이 드는 학생이....
모의고사 해석 후 마지막 말은 
"무슨뜻이에요?"  "무슨말하는거에요?" "해석은 되는데 무슨말인지 몰라요"....라고 합니다.
 
고1,고2는 더 머리가 커야하니 많이 읽고 상식을 넓히는 것도 도움이 된다며 잔소리하고....
 
고3은 어찌합니까?
몇달 후에 인생최대의 시험이 기다리고 있는데요....
 
 
24년 수능 영어영역에서 어려웠다고 하는 24번,33번,34번 중에 33번을 살펴보겠습니다.
 
 
빈칸에 들어갈 말로 가장 적절한 것을 고르시면 됩니다.
시간은 2분30초 정도에 풀면 완전 훌륭합니다.
 
33. There have been psychological studies in which subjects were shown photographs of people’s faces and asked to identify the expression or state of mind evinced. The results are invariably very mixed. In the 17th century the French painter and theorist Charles Le Brun drew a series of faces illustrating the various emotions that painters could be called upon to represent. 본문해석 자체는 어렵지 않습니다.

해석도했고,  이해도했는데 보기 5개 중에 답을 못고르는  경우가 더 많습니다.

빈칸문제를 풀때는
답이 될 수 없는 것부터 제(거)하면서 답을 찾으면 된다고 말해주곤합니다.
 
<사족>
당연히 답이 될 수 없는  문장을 찾아내는 것도, 기본적인 학습이 된상태에서  해석이 어느정도 되어야 가능 할 것 입니다.
영어기본기가 없어서 해석자체가  안
되면 문해력까지 갈 필요도 없습니다. 기본부터 닦아야지요.
영어 공부를 안하면서, (해석을 못해도 답을 찾는 법)을 물어보는 학생이 있습니다.
다른 학생은 한 문제를 맞추기 위해 시간과 노력을 쌓아가는데, 어디 프리패스하려는 마음을 먹는걸까요.

1,2,3,4번이 답이 될수 없어서 5번했습니다.
5번을 넣어서 해석하면 <맥락과 상황속에서 파악을 하지 않으니 얼굴 그림이 서로 대체 될 수 있다>는 거라, 무리도 없어보입니다.
